Vice President, Shared Services

Overview:
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Human Resources, the Vice President, HR Operations leads our payroll, benefits, and HRIS functions. This individual will blend tactical day to day work with strategic thinking and planning to advance the efficiencies of human resources services offered to employees. HR Shared Services are provided to 5 individual organizations. This is a hybrid role located in our Boston, MA office.
 
What you will do:
•    Provide strategic direction and daily oversight to the HR Shared Services team.
•    Ensure daily operations of HR Shared Services team provide efficient, timely, and accurate delivery of HR Services.
•    Perform second level audit of payroll, benefits, and HRIS transactions.
•    Monitor billing and expenses of services.
•    Partner with benefit consultants to identify benefit gaps and provide recommendations as needed to ensure the organization is offering a competitive benefits package.
•    Oversee perks such as commuter subsidy, tuition reimbursement, college loan repayment, and relocation.
•    Collaborate with HR partners to facilitate immigration and ensure proper work authorization.
•    Leverage HR systems to streamline processes.
•    Troubleshoot complex questions related to payroll and/or benefits.
•    Directly manage all leaves of absence adhering to company policy as well as Federal and State Laws.
•    Partner with EVP, HR to systematically manage annual compensation review.
•    Collaborate with HR Team members and other partners to ensure coordination and alignment of HR Services.
•    Act as the point person for all audits.
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using technology to streamline and standardize processes and policies while improving efficiencies.
•    Implement and oversee data governance that maintains the integrity of data in HR related systems.
•    Actively stay up to date on laws that impact HR Services.
 
What you will bring:
•    A minimum of 8 years of direct HR Shared Services experience with particular focus in payroll, benefits, and HRIS
•    A minimum of 5 years of management experience.
•    Experience with UKG (UltiPro) strongly preferred.
•    Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and troubleshoot with ease.
•    Tenacity to resolve complex situations/questions.
•    Superior customer service skills.
•    Ability to properly safeguard confidential data.
