Senior Events Manager  
Overview:  
In this highly visible role, you will develop and deliver end-to-end strategy for US meetings and events. Meetings and events are defined as internal meetings, sales meetings, corporate and client-facing events. The Senior Events Manager will deliver a high standard of meeting planning excellence for business partners, clients and affiliates. In addition to sound technical capabilities, the role requires strong and mature interpersonal skills and a significant amount of collaboration throughout all levels of the organization. The Senior Events Manager should understand the business, Natixis culture and be able to handle evolving priorities. You will contribute to broader department programs and company goals. A high level of initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, creativity and collaboration is required to develop, plan and execute successful events and meetings. This is a hybrid position and our office is located in Boston, MA.  
What you will do:  
  • In compliance with Natixis Investment Managers (NIM) policies and relevant regulations, plan and organize internal/external business-related meetings and events. Collaborate with external constituents and internal partners to develop and determine strategic direction to include meeting objectives, desired outcomes, intended audience, creative and innovative engagement techniques.
  • Project management of event plan, staffing, on-site set up and logistics, working with agency partners, marketing teams, sales and executive staff.
  • Creative implementation of event experiences and activations to amplify the Natixis brand.
  • Develop and manage measurable objectives and success criteria, including post event evaluations and return on investment analysis.
  • Investigate, source, negotiate, and coordinate hotel and ancillary meeting services (includes contractors, vendors, onsite staff) while leading logistics of program functions.
  • Coordinate and supervise AV/production and auxiliary technical services (i.e., Mobile applications, augmented/virtual reality applications, audience response systems, polling/surveys) to ensure successful execution and measurement.
  • Facilitate positive attendee experience through efficient, organized and successful registration site design and attendee management tactics and reporting.
  • Address all aspects of budget and billing, including development of and balancing against budgets, identification and quantification of cost savings/cost avoidance efforts, reconciling master bills, coordinating payment to vendors, and managing meeting expenses.
  • Recommend, implement and measure processes and event operations activities.
  • Recruit, interview and manage team Co-op.
What you will bring:  
  • 5 -7 years of demonstrated event management experience
  • Experience with Cvent Event Management software program is required
  • Strong project management and solutions-oriented planning process
  • Adept interpersonal skills
  • An eye toward continuous improvement and application of ideas and efficiencies for programs and internal systems
  • Experience with the development of tactical planning to include meeting objectives and aligned activities to ensure a positive internal/external client experience.
  • Understand affiliate and partner guidelines as well as Natixis compliance guidelines.
  • Learn and apply Natixis branding elements to all initiatives
  • Comfortable collaborating with C-Suite level executives
  • 15% - 20% travel within the US
