Overview:
 
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will build strong partnerships with managers and employees at all levels of the organization to optimally align human capital with business objectives. The HRBP will act as a strategic advisor, offering guidance on employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, HR analytics and reporting and policy and procedures. Levering business acumen, the HRBP will play an integral role in implementing and championing talent initiatives and strategic HR programs to enhance business outcomes. This is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of three days/week in our Boston (Back Bay) office. 
 
 
What you will do:
  • Strategic Advisor: Use HR expertise to support growth, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster a culture of engagement and inclusion. Act as a strategic advisor to management on all human resource-related matters. Lead organizational change initiatives, providing HR guidance and coaching as appropriate.
  • Employee Relations: Provide direction and advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters. Manage, investigate, and resolve employee issues, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Proactively identify potential employee relations risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Talent Management: Partner with talent management team to identify skill mapping, development opportunities and performance management. Provide support and coaching to department leaders, managers, and employees. In collaboration with management, conduct regular succession planning.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with compensation and benefits team to ensure programs are competitive and aligned with market trends.
  • Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI): Partner with DEI to support the diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.
  • Engagement: Partner with HR colleagues, management, and employees to assess employee engagement, observe and track trends in behavior and identify initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement.
  • Policy and Procedures: Participate in reviewing, developing, and enhancing policies and procedures to effectively support the organization and our employees.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting: Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Compliance: Stay current with relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with legal requirements. Provide guidance and support during internal and external audits.
  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring initiatives as needed. 
 
What you will bring:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role; experience within financial services or similar sector strongly preferred.
  • Ability to build trusting partnerships with employees, peers, and leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to productively manage conflict.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Legal knowledge as it pertains to employment law coupled with business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work independently.
