Job Summary:
NVIII is looking for a motivated individual to join our HR team as an Intern to assist our HR Manager with day-to-day operations and projects. This will include recruiting, training, HRIS and special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the onboarding process
- Phone screen and set up interviews
- Administrative support to the HR Manager
- Support the HRIS system
Key Competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work on multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to be self-sufficient and proactive and to work well in a team environment
- Self- starter with good problem solving skills
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Some business experience in a professional office environment preferred, through part-time work or internships.
- Proficiency in multiple PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). PeopleSoft experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) a plus.
