The Solutions Architect role at Nasuni is one of the most exciting and dynamic positions in the organization. In this exclusively pre-sales role, your contributions will have a direct and immediate impact on the company’s success. You’ll be a critical piece to the revenue-generating function of the company, while also being intimately involved with our feature-rich technology.
As a Nasuni SA, you’ll be the “face of Nasuni” in your territory. You’ll be each customer’s first impression of the company. We’re seeking highly credible, consultative, technical sales people to evangelize Nasuni and articulate how the product can solve file storage challenges.
This is a pre-sales role with no post-sale implementation or support work required.
As a Solutions Architect, you will…
Build your territory. You’ll be the technical business partner to your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in territory. You’ll take an active role in building pipeline by engaging with Value Added Resellers (VARs) and cloud partners such as AWS and Microsoft to drive new customer opportunities. You’ll work with the Nasuni corporate marketing team to raise awareness in your territory, and you’ll work hand-in-hand with your designated Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to capture new customer meetings.
Master the message. Nasuni can solve a lot of problems. It will be up to you (with training from Nasuni) to learn about a customer’s environment and specific set of challenges, and then position Nasuni in a way that shows value. You’ll lean on your technical expertise in NAS, back-up, replication, and file synchronization, as well as your in-depth knowledge of Nasuni, to answer questions, overcome objections, and paint the picture of a better world for end users and IT with Nasuni.
Prove it to the Prospect (POC). When prospects need to evaluate Nasuni technology, you will be their host throughout the entire process. You’ll define the scope, establish success criteria, manage the project through a series of deadlines, and sell Nasuni’s benefits. POC’s are a critical juncture in the sales process and the Nasuni SA shepherds this engagement from start until testing ends.
Deliver exceptional product demonstrations. White boards, conversations, and meetings are fruitful for explaining abstract concepts. But demonstrations make it real. They allow prospects to envision how Nasuni will fit into their environment and solve their business problems. Demos must be engaging, insightful, and succinct.
Report to the business. As an SA, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that information collected in the field is funneled to the appropriate teams at Nasuni. Account information will be logged in SalesForce, product feature requests should be passed to the Product Team. SA’s are also an important resource for Nasuni marketing, as SA’s hear directly from customers around strategy, cloud initiatives, and competitive information.
