 Web Strategist - Boston, MA/Hybrid

The Position
The Web Strategist will be a member of the corporate marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the long-term planning and ongoing programs for the Nasuni corporate website. This cross-functional role, will work with various teams within Nasuni to devise, develop, and oversee the strategy and execution for how Nasuni establishes and grows its online presence. You will be expected to understand search engine marketing, search engine optimization, and website strategy in order to build the Nasuni corporate presence while driving inquiries and conversions.

This position is the primary point of contact for digital projects and strategies, builds digital/web strategies to help achieve business goals, and provides detailed metrics reporting and strategic recommendations based on digital performance and user behavior.

We seek someone with a proven record of success within the digital sphere as well as within prior workplace environments. This position will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing and have significant exposure to senior leadership within the organization.
 

As the Web Strategist, you will...

 

  • Participate in the strategy development for the corporate website with attention to driving conversions and optimizing for increased engagement and an improved visitor experience.
  • Manage website content to ensure that messaging is aligned with the larger marketing and corporate initiatives.
  • Define and drive a process for ongoing site QA, content refresh and the removal of outdated content.
  • Develop new ideas to drive improved program ROI and campaign performance.
  • Leverage digital metrics (site traffic, visitor paths, conversion rates) to test landing page performance, special promotions, and content to optimize marketing investment and analyze program impact.
  • Analyze and report out on the effectiveness of campaign efforts and measure impact against set goals including leads, opportunities and revenue.
  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website rankings in search engine results.

 

 

Required skills + experience we look for are …

 

  • 5-7+ years’ direct experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, computer science or related field.
  • Experience with successfully managing and executing a corporate B2B website is required – with a key focus on optimizing websites for branding, awareness, and demand generation objectives.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of user experience [UX] and user interface [UI] design.
  • Experience in information design [content audit, wire frame creation, navigation architecture as well as SEO].
  • Experience with Google Analytics. 
  • Extreme attention to detail, executes with urgency, and has the ability to effectively balance a creative and analytical skillset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to converse fluently with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Confidence to deliver campaign analysis to senior management regarding program success, areas for opportunity and insight on future initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Flexible and team player mentality.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Work Environment

Works in an open-concept office environment up to 75% of the time with low but varying noise levels. 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work seated at a desk 100% of the time with occasional standing and walking for recruiting and company events for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to interact with co-workers in office environment. Must be able to hear and communicate with clients and candidates through video-calling software and telephone frequently. Must be able to engage in constant repetitive finger and wrist motion for typing. Must be required to view a computer screen constantly.
