Registered Nurse - Post Partum - Days
Description
The Post Partum/Newborn Nursery RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Licensure/Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state. BLS required and NRP and CPI required within 90 days. STABLE encouraged.
Experience & Knowledge: Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development necessary for assessment, range of treatment and care of neonates raging from premature through full term. 1 year of experience is needed.
