Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions, including joint disorders, fractures, and sports injuries.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient history.
  • Perform advanced orthopedic surgeries utilizing robotic-assisted technology, including joint replacements, spine surgeries, and complex reconstructions.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to guide surgical planning and decision-making.
  • Manage post-operative care, including monitoring recovery and providing patient education on rehabilitation and recovery.
Robotic-Assisted Surgery:
  • Utilize robotic-assisted surgical systems to enhance precision and improve surgical outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in robotic technology and integrate best practices into surgical procedures.
  • Participate in training and continuing education related to robotic surgery techniques and technologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic nurses, physical therapists, and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to optimize patient management.
Clinical Research and Education:
  • Engage in clinical research to advance the field of orthopedic surgery and robotic-assisted techniques.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, technologies, and advancements in orthopedic surgery and robotics.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Training: Completed an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in orthopedic surgery with a focus on robotic-assisted procedures preferred. Exceptional New graduates with relevant training and robotic surgery experience will be considered.
  • Skills: Expertise in performing robotic-assisted orthopedic surgeries. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in orthopedic surgery. Proficiency in utilizing advanced surgical technologies and techniques.
