Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Supervisor of Dietary Line for Food Nutrition Services as a Full time job in Nashville Tennessee.
This position is primarily responsible for supervising and participating in food service of patients and employees and cafeteria for service and preparation. Scheduling, training, quality control, employee relations and other duties as necessary. This may be gained through orientation and on the job training. This position also participates with sanitation guidelines. Must complete all other duties assigned.
Supervisor of Dietary Line Roles & Responsibilities:
- Leads a team responsible for food service to patients and employees, as well as cafeteria service and preparation.
- Responsible for overseeing scheduling, training, quality control, employee relations, and any other necessary duties.
- Follows strict sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in hospitals or foodservice
- Three years' experience in food service work with two of the three years' experience at a dietary technician level.
- Experience in the nutritional needs of all ages of populations served from neonatal to geriatrics.
- Must acquire Servsafe certification within six months of hiring/being assigned to the supervisor position.
- Computer literacy required.
