Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiology Clinic
Description
Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiology Clinic team in Nashville, Tennessee.
This is Monday-Friday 8a-4:30pm position. No Holidays, No On Call Requirements.
The RN, Cardiology delivers nursing care for patients across their life span, and through the use of the nursing process, assesses and documents the effects of care under the supervision of a Cardiologist and works cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, medical and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
As a RN, Cardiology you will:
- Support the CTA program
- Create a positive experience by welcoming and assisting clinic patients
- Prepare and maintaining patient files by obtaining personal and health information
- Promote patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
- Set up and stocking examination and procedure rooms
- Sterilize medical equipment and sanitizing designated areas
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse License in the state of Tennessee
- Employee must have a valid BLS upon hire. ACLS preferred.
- CPI required within 90 days of hire.
- Previous Cardiac or Critical Care Experience
