Nakisa Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of Software Development for our Pakistan operations. This key leadership role involves overseeing and managing multiple development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and working closely with the CTO and development leaders based in Canada.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a growing team of software developers in Pakistan, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring professional development and career growth.
Product Delivery:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software products in Pakistan, ensuring alignment with Nakisa’s overall strategic goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product vision and deliver high-quality products.
Technical Excellence:
Drive technical excellence within the development teams, promoting best practices, code quality, and adherence to software development standards.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the team’s capabilities.
Inter-Departmental Interaction:
Utilize your extensive experience to engage directly with other departments (Product Management, Customer Support, Solution Engineering, Professional Services) understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of solutions that exceed expectations.
Collaboration with Montreal Teams:
Work closely with development leaders in Montreal, providing regular updates on status, addressing challenges, and fostering a cohesive global development effort.
Strategic Contribution:
Contribute to the overall strategic vision of Nakisa’s development initiatives, collaborating with the CTO and other key stakeholders.
Performance Metrics:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of the development teams in Pakistan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 15 - 20 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large development teams and delivering complex software projects.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.
