About Us
At NeuroKids, we offer more than a job. We offer a long-term, meaningful career. Although NeuroKids is a young organization, we have been working together for over 20+ years to help children with hydrocephalus and spina bifida live longer and better lives. We do this by training neurosurgeons to perform new, minimally invasive endoscopic techniques that can eliminate hydrocephalus without subjecting children to life-long, and life-threatening, dependence upon an implanted shunt device. Children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus comprise not just a category of disease but a unique and complex group with very specialized needs. Our training program is designed to equip neurosurgeons and their teams with the clinical judgment and technical expertise to provide excellent care for these children regardless of global region or resource availability through the use of remote presence technology and a dynamic mentorship model.
