MyEyeDr is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to support the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team at MyEyeDr. This role will support the CRM team in coordinating, building, and deploying email and SMS campaigns (and sometimes automated voice and postal campaigns) within the Marketing Department. Top candidates will exhibit project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability. The right individual for this role will be able to manage campaigns from start to finish with little oversight.

The right individual for this role will be able to manage campaigns from start to finish with little oversight.
Reporting to the Director, CRM, this is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.
You Will
- Execute regular email marketing campaigns including the full cycle of planning, wireframing, building, sending, and reporting (a separate creative team handles design and copywriting).
- Drive email strategy to meet company KPIs
- Own the email marketing calendar and keep it updated
- Build emails in Braze by using HTML/CSS templates
- Set up and deploy campaigns, which includes using filters to set the audience segments
- Provide design and copy direction to the creative team in line with email best practices
- Usher emails through reviews, collecting feedback and making changes as needed (includes submitting creative briefs)
- Be a champion for our creative review and QA processes
- Keep a test mindset; pilot new concepts
- Document campaign changes
- Troubleshoot and reconcile issues reported to the CRM team
- Database knowledge to access data for highly targeted campaigns (segmentation and personalization)
- Own email deliverability monitoring – represent MyEyeDr. at monthly meetings, stay on top of best practices, suppressions and more
- Manage email campaigns for 3rd party vendor on prospecting campaigns
- Report weekly, monthly and quarterly on campaigns; analyze what’s working and what’s not
About You
- 5+ years of professional experience building and sending emails; some experience with other CRM channels a plus
- 5+ years of experience with an email service provider (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Klaviyo, MailChimp, Hubspot, Iterable, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or the equivalent combination of education, skills, training & experience
- At least 1 year experience with Braze (desired)
- Expert experience using filters to set target audiences
- Proficiency with HTML/CSS email
- Proficiency with excel
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Expert experience reporting on campaign success / understand acronyms like OR, CTR, CTOR, ROI
- Experience using Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar testing tool
- Proven track record of executing on email marketing best practices
- Extreme attention to detail
- Outstanding ability to follow through and drive projects to completion
