Ultrasonographer II – On-Site | This is a PRN position to work between the inpatient side at MMC and the outpatient facility at Traverse Heart and Vascular.

- Our Ultrasonographers perform General and Vascular exams including Abdomen, OB, Breast, Biopsies and Procedures. There is opportunity to enhance your skills to include MFM, MSK and/or Vascular Ultrasound.
What’s Required:
- Registered Sonographer with 10 or more years’ experience who have at least 1 RDMS subspecialties (i.e. ABD and OB/GYN etc.) This elevated designation represents a highly skilled and knowledgeable General sonographer and are expected to be mentors and teachers for all technologists.
- Completion of college or hospital based Vascular or Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or completion of Allied Health Program approved by the AMA.
- OR - Registered Sonographer in both general (RDMS) and vascular (RVT) with less than 3 yrs vascular experience. Must have at least one RDMS subspecialty and is expected to perform both general and vascular exams during a work day. AND 5+ years of experience who have at least 2 or more RDMS subspecialty registries and perform exams in these specialties or perform MSK, whole breast screening and are breast registered or perform fetal echocardiography.
- Maintains BLS certification with biannual renewal
