What You’ll Do:

A Financial Analyst at Munson Healthcare provides financial and analytical support to departments and leadership across the system. Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Analyzing trends and identifying root causes of variances
  • Performing journal entries and supporting month-end close
  • Supporting business planning, capital projects, and service line performance
  • Collaborating with operational leaders to provide insights on financial performance
  • Utilizing Munson’s BI and financial systems to generate reports and dashboards
  • Participating in process improvement and strategic initiatives

What’s Required:

Experience/Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or multi-entity accounting environment, or public accounting
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) and financial software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • CMA, CPA, or CHFP designation preferred
