Summary:
Are you interested in improving lives? If YES, we are hiring a Financial Counselor to guide and assist our uninsured and underinsured patients to establish a financial resource for their current and future healthcare needs. Financial Counselors assist patients in applying for governmental and/or state programs. They are also responsible in assisting individuals with pre-service cost estimates, support in resolving insurance issues, and continuously monitoring various worklists for appropriate follow-up. A Financial Counselor is a patient advocate who offers financial advice and assistance to patients regarding medical bills. We are seeking a compassionate individual with the ability to work independently and collaborate with team members to fulfill this rewarding role.

What’s Required:
- Associates Degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience required.
- Two years experience in customer service, healthcare, or business related field.
- Above average oral and written communication skills and the ability to converse well on the telephone and in face-to-face situations is required. Applicant must be warm, friendly and sensitive to the feelings and concerns of others.
