A Hospitality House Assistant at Munson Healthcare interacts daily with our guests, the patients and families of Munson Medical Center. As such, empathy, compassion, and the ability to actively listen as critical in being a successful assistant. Munson Manor provides a home-away-from-home for the patients and families of Munson Medical Center. The population served at the Manor are those who have loved ones going through a procedure at the hospital, parents of infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and patients going through ongoing treatment programs at Munson Medical Center and Cowell Family Cancer Center. The assistant ensures a seamless and exceptional guest service experience, reservations are managed, rooms are cleaned, and the various individual needs of Manor guests are met. Additional skills in being successful in this role are positivity, flexibility, ability to learn our reservation software, knowledge of Microsoft software products, and ease of coordinating the ever-changing needs of our guests. The assistant must be self-motivated, have good organizational and problem-solving skills. The assistant will need to effectively communicate and uphold the policies and mission of the Hospitality House with guests, referral agents, potential donors, and community representatives. Two years previous experience in the hospitality industry, or the health care field. Two years of college preferred.

What’s Required:
Experience/Education
- Associate’s degree – preferred.
- Two years previous experience in the hospitality industry or healthcare field.
