Description
Responsible for development and execution of perinatal education to expectant and new parents and new caregivers. Primary outpatient education provided with collaboration with inpatient teams as needed. Education also provided in collaboration with community programs. This role plans, organizes, facilitates and implements childbirth educational activities and classes. Teaches the majority of the classes. Provides guidance and support to the secretarial and on-call teaching staff, including serving as a coach to optimize performance of the staff optimize outcomes.

What’s Required:
- Graduate of a recognized and accredited school of nursing. Registered. Bachelor’s degree in nursing or education preferred
- Registered Nurse with the State of Michigan
- A minimum of three years related experience and expertise in obstetric and/or perinatal nursing required, including Labor and Delivery
