Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate SAP records of consumables inventory located across multiple regional warehouses and physically managed by a 3rd party logistics partner; and ensuring inventory best practices are being followed by our partner.
Time Utilization:
Normal business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customer schedules. This position will require 5% travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Daily inventory sync of SAP inventory and 3rd party partner inventory. Reconcile SAP inventory records with 3rd party inventory records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Frequently and routinely review cycle count reports from partner and report variances to supervisor
- Analyze lot usage and ensure our partners are following correct FIFO rotation
- Conduct annual visits to each regional warehouse to complete on-site sample audit counts
- Work closely with 3rd party partner, Procurement, Order Entry, and Shipping/Receiving teams to investigate and resolve inventory issues
- Prepare weekly reports on blocked stock for Consumables team review
- Attend quarterly business reviews with our partners

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years related inventory management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively convey information in verbal and written form.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; inventory and manufacturing software; and order processing systems. Prior experience with SAP preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and powered industrial trucks. The associate is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, extreme cold and extreme heat.
