Our HR Operations Partner role is a key position focused on building and sustaining trusted relationships with senior and operational management at the site. In this role, you'll manage and oversee all aspects of the HR function, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with company goals. From onboarding new talent to offboarding employees, you'll handle the entire employee lifecycle with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and support. As the go-to expert on employment law, you'll guide both managers and employees, to ensure adherence to company policies and best HR practices.
You’ll collaborate closely with the wider UK HR team to introduce new policy initiatives, be involved in and lead HR projects, write and deliver training programs, and be involved in change management initiatives.
You will have the confidence to present HR data and suggestions to the Management team and be prepared to represent the HR function in regular and ad hoc communication sessions such as town hall meetings and colleague forums.
In Talent Acquisition, you’ll play a key role in recruiting top talent, leading end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, candidate sourcing, offer negotiation, and onboarding. Your input will shape MCC’s workforce for the future.

Responsibilities:
- HR Leadership: Manage the onsite day-to-day HR operations, ensuring seamless HR processes and adherence to employment law.
- Policy & Compliance: Be the subject matter expert on employment law, advising managers and employees to ensure compliance.
- Collaboration & Projects: Work with the wider UK HR team to roll out new policies, spearhead HR projects, and lead training initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition: Drive recruitment strategies, manage job campaigns, and build a robust talent pipeline for diverse roles up to management level.
- Data-Driven HR: Utilise HRIS systems to track KPIs, present HR insights,
- Benefits administration: you will be the local representative for managing onsite benefits including our reward and recognition scheme
Qualifications:
- Have experience at HR Business Partner or HR Manager level, ideally within manufacturing and multi-site environments.
- Hold a CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) with strong employment law knowledge.
- Can build strong, effective relationships at all levels, challenge the status quo and contribute to MCC’s growth strategy.
- travel between sites on an ad hoc basis (a full driver’s license is required).
- Have hands-on experience with HRIS systems and be confident in presenting HR data and insights to senior management.
- Be proactive in sourcing diverse candidates through various recruitment channels, building a strong talent pipeline.
