- Define and drive MCC’s Americas business strategy, aligning with enterprise goals for operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as executive advisor to the CEO, COO, and leadership team on quality-related risks, opportunities, and investments.
- Act as the voice of quality with customers, suppliers, regulators, and industry associations.
- Champion and execute a strategy regarding Cost of Quality internally driving culture of process robustness , first time quality and rework and quality waste reduction
- Be a leader on sign off of quality tests and product quality capability and reproducibility during onboarding new customers and products
- Oversee the design, implementation, and governance of MCC’s global Quality Management System (QMS) across all business units.
- Standardize quality processes, tools, and metrics across sites to ensure consistent performance and compliance with ISO, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Implement predictive and preventive systems leveraging data analytics, SPC, and advanced quality tools to drive zero-defect culture.
- Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to accelerate defect reduction, process efficiency, and cultural adoption across global operations.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams to proactively embed quality into new product development, supplier management, and manufacturing systems.
- Lead enterprise-wide Kaizen, GEMBA, and problem-solving initiatives that drive measurable improvements in cost of quality, customer complaints, and operational reliability.
- Build and lead a high-performing global quality organization, including plant quality leaders, regional directors, and subject matter experts.
- Provide executive-level coaching, succession planning, and capability development to elevate organizational talent.
- Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and professional growth across the quality function.
- Manage and optimize the enterprise quality budget, ensuring fiscally responsible investment in systems, training, and innovation.
- Drive improvements that reduce cost of poor quality, warranty claims, and customer dissatisfaction.
- Contribute to long-term business growth by ensuring MCC delivers premium, compliant, and innovative products that exceed customer expectations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership in Quality, including at least 7 years in multi-site or global executive leadership.
- Proven ability to lead cultural transformation and embed world-class quality practices at scale.
- Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced quality systems (CQE, ASQ certifications strongly preferred).
- Strong financial and strategic acumen with demonstrated ability to influence C-Suite decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with global customers, suppliers, regulators, and employees.
- Ability to travel up to 70–80% globally.
