We are seeking to appoint a Technical Development Specialist to join our team

 

 

 

The Role

 

In this exciting and varied position you will be responsible for:

 

  • Pressure Sensitive Labels development projects lead, with specific know-how on printing industry and Home Personal Care technical aspects and market application
  • Technical projects lead in the technical Services and Development, EMEA structure
  • Customer projects lead in a multi-national team across locations - but with a particular focus on Poland
  • Close cooperation with Operations Department in technological development of new label products: This includes determining, product development plan, print configurations, print techniques, and machine allocation.
  • Close ongoing collaboration on new label projects: This involves working with Sales Department and Operations at multiple locations.
  • Close cooperation with the sustainability department on R&D topics such as recycling PET and HDPE bottles PSL solutions with a focus on PPWR and RecyClass
  • Print production process experience. Selection of suitable components, inks, varnishes, printing techniques and raw materials according to quality characteristics and PSL product requirements.
  • Development and implementation of new printing technologies: This includes new machinery, raw materials, inks, special effects.
  • Leading R&D projects related to investment in new machinery. Providing technical support for print tests in printing house production
  • The field application experience would be a nice fit to the above

 

 

The Person

 

To succeed in this role you will bring:

 

  • University degree engineering field or several years of experience with technical sales, technology department, printing techniques, principles and technology in a similar role
  • PSL materials knowledge
  • Production process experience target over materials, inks, and varnishes interaction with label performance
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during project development.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings or project requirements if needed
  • Very good command of written and spoken English, enabling free communication
