in Hann. Münden we are looking for a committed and competent Print Manager (m/f/d).

Print Manager is responsible for overall site printing department where they will creates a work environment which is driven by safety, quality, cost and delivery.  Effectively develop teams that can achieve corporate improvement objectives.  Accountable for all aspects of plant production performance while ensuring objectives are attained cost-effectively.  Drives best practices through the organization and leads process improvement through Lean Manufacturing Principles.

Position overview

Responsibilities

 

Being responsible for producing the specified production program within the framework of the target values while maintaining the required quality in a cost-saving and efficient manner. In addition, you ensure that the workforce and its qualifications as well as the working atmosphere are maintained.

  •  
    • Monitoring and coordinating the deployment of personnel in consultation with the foreman
    • Monitoring the training, further training and promotion of employees
    • Determining wages in consultation with the HR department
    • Monitoring operational instructions (working hours, alcohol breaks, hygiene, safety regulations, etc.)
    • Analyzing all production deviations and drawing up proposals for future problem solutions
    • Monitoring of problematic orders and sample orders
    • Assisting with the processing of complaints
     
    • Authorization to issue work instructions in the subordinate area
     
    • Continuous comparison of actual performance against target values 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business or equivalent at min 5 years of staff level leadership experience in printing and printing environment.
  • Printing industry experience is preferred (although not required).
  • Experience in being a role model in complex transformational activities..
  • Ability to apply structured problem-solving methodologies to determine root cause of problems and provide effective countermeasures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • At min good experiences in writing and speaking English
