The FP&A Sr. Analyst will play a vital role in the department's transformation initiative to further enhance insightful reporting to Executive Leadership and streamline the budgeting, forecasting and long-range strategic planning processes. The FP&A Sr. Analyst will provide timely and accurate analysis and support for the FP&A team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively lead routine monthly management reporting responsibilities
  • Support financial modeling and budgeting to help team to understand drivers of business and how it is tracking against key initiatives
  • Support forecasting process by gathering and compiling various data sets, analyzing trends, analyzing variances and current performance metrics, and partnering with department leadership to obtain key assumptions
  • Support infrastructure to gather timely feedback from plant network to support decision-making
  • Help identify potential sources of leakage from initiatives (e.g., pricing) to help ensure capture of savings
  • Support the evaluation of payback from projects that require capital and prioritization of project pipeline
  • Contribute to building an FP&A function that pro-actively identifies business trends and risks to budget; i.e., use historical information to inform decisions about the future
  • Demonstrate flexibility and agility to support analysis for current business with ability to scale to accommodate expected business growth
  • Partner with the organization to execute the annual budgeting process, provide monthly rolling forecasts, analysis of KPI data and participate in the strategic planning process
  • Build, document, and deploy scalable processes and systems that ensure repeatable, high-quality execution
  • Listen closely and ask questions to ensure complete understanding of any issue or question-at-hand in order to provide the most concise and accurate reporting/analysis
  • General technical knowledge of budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes. Able to work with managers throughout company in analyzing financial situations
  • Prepare presentations and executive reports for Senior Management and Board of Directors

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 4 to 7 years of overall experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment required
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel a must
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and continuous process improvement mindset
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and across departments
  • Assertive, action orientated hands-on, "roll up your sleeves"-type approach
  • Energetic, strong work ethic, resilient, collaborative, ability to juggle multiple projects at once and personally committed to achieving success
