The Custodian maintains cleanliness, order, and safety within a building and its grounds by performing tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and managing trash.

• Compensation: $22.00 hourly
• Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Responsibilities: 

• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs routine maintenance activities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
• Dusts furniture and walls.
• Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
• Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
• Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
   

Qualifications: 

• High school education or equivalent.
• Exhibits a safety-first attitude in all that is done, from proper PPE compliance to keeping the work environment safe and hazard-free.
• Compliance with all workplace and safety standards required.
• Detail oriented and can focus for long periods of time.
• Ability to stand and move around work area for long periods of time.
• Possess skills to prioritize and multi-task.
