The Graphics Project Coordinator Supervisor provides mentoring, oversight, and support to SME Order Engineers in Center of Excellence locations. Creates a positive work environment which drives and develops employee engagement. Ensures customer product specifications and item master management is translated accurately into the Company’s ERP system.  Strategically collaborates with internal and external customers to optimize customer-facing interactions and operational efficiencies. Provides critical analysis, feedback, and action to drive positive change and results.

 Responsibilities:  

  • Develops individual talent and provides guidance through quarterly Success Checks (at minimum)
  • Coaches, mentors, and evaluates Order Engineers
  • Manage employees remotely
  • Contributes analytical and objective insight into annual and semi-annual performance reviews for Order Engineers
  • Collaborates with peers and direct reports to optimize operational efficiencies and drive positive change and results through the organization
  • Standardizes, utilizes, and constantly evaluates effectiveness of team communications (i.e. daily, weekly meetings)
  • Manages personal order engineering workload as well as teams
  • Fundamental resource for internal and external pre-pro calls
  • Responsible for Center of Excellence Data Governance: Order Engineer documentation to support projects, local audits, meeting note with PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), list is not all inclusive
  • Develops and collaborates with peers to ensure standard work is clear and concise
  • Ensures prepress jobs are completed, closed and billed each month
  • Cultivates cohesive and productive relationships with Sales, Image Assembly, Tech Services, Operations, and Color Management to ensure World Class Services is extended to internal and external customers
  • Responsible for plant support after office hours (this is based on assigned schedules)
  • Estimate limited 20% travel on average
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years of Supervisory experience in Customer Service and/or Graphics Reproduction; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Ability to determine root cause of problem and determine corrective action
  • Strong skills in math, data entry, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy are require
  • Ability to read, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group.
  • Individual must also work independently and is occasionally expected to cooperate with co-workers in creating smooth flow.
  • This position requires the associate to stand or sit for prolonged periods or may be required to lift and/ or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to travel within North America This position requires the incumbent to constantly use color vision.
  • This position requires the incumbent to regularly hear, sit for prolonged periods of time, and speak / articulate.
  • This position requires the incumbent to stand, walk, carry, climb, use manual dexterity (hand/finger coordination), grasp and reach on an occasional basis.
