This position serves as the primary contact assigned as the project facilitator of all activity related to IBP gatekeeper approved internal company business transfers between the plant production operations possibly expanding to new business onboarding. This role is accountable for delivering timely and accurate execution for the transfer of plant production of new or existing customer portfolios. He/she will focus on:
- Working with IBP team members, Tech services and plants to Execute assigned approved transfers or onboarding, and driving supply chain initiatives across the total value chain based upon customer and Company needs
- Management of activities to improve key performance indicators improving process, practices and execution team operations.
- Executing best practices to implement, maintain and report on project adherence, execution, and operational challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with supply chain counterparts at the assigned customer account(s).
- Collaborate with Supply Planning to support strategic production planning initiatives for MCC North America.
- Serve as a participant in strategic planning to reduce costs, grow revenue and fulfill customer orders.
- Lead cross-functional/multi-organization projects for intercompany transfer/new item introduction including label status, plant assignment, timelines for delivery, and strategic sourcing using Company Smartsheet tracking.
- Deliver industry leading results through proactive cross-functional planning, project management, a well-developed process of daily results. Key metrics inclusions: Adherence to project timeline/deadlines, successful item set-up at plants, fulfillment, and on-time deliveries of customer orders.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for an internal cross-functional teams serving as the gatekeeper of all activity to successfully transfer existing or initiate new item production across all plants.
- Contribute to the success of the overall business by representing supply chain interests in cross-functional project teams to implement changes to business processes.
- Mentor and train other team members on internal Business Transfer workstreams, resources and reporting as well as groups in other business units or departments.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, make constructive suggestions for change and drive for results.
- Monitor best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities as they relate to specific area(s) of responsibility and shares learnings, as appropriate, with direct reports and peers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to Five + years’ experience which includes:
- Demonstrated comfort dealing with customers and plant operations.
- Proven ability and willingness to develop relationships with customers and internal functional partners
- Experience in multiple aspects of customer service, project management and operations
- Strong analytical skills including ability to manage multiple step processes, team coordination, problem solving, group dynamics and multiple aspects of production needs.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and tools (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, formal problem solving, etc.)
- Ability to:
- Think and act strategically in the business while able to focus on day-to-day operational execution
- Work effectively in a constantly changing, fast paced team environment at multiple levels
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners
- Printing industry experience and/or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) specific logistics management preferred.
- Knowledge of internal systems and item information specs and tools
- Customer focused with a strong service orientation.
- Excellent organizational and influencing skills and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills; comfortable communicating at various organizational levels, and able to back-up thoughts with facts and analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Smartsheet software preferred.
- Strong results orientation and work ethic, able to work independently.
- Flexibility to support multiple projects with ability to meet all deadlines.
- Occasional travel required to Company plant and customer locations in support of strategic initiatives and team goals.
