Inside Sales         
Multi Service Fuel Card, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell USA, is looking for an Inside Sales Rep to join its Kansas City-based hybrid/onsite team. We are a progressive transaction management company specializing in billing and payment solutions with a strong commitment to our customer.
The successful candidate will reside in KC and will be responsible for aggressively growing our customer base through presenting and selling our fuel card to small and medium size trucking companies. The ideal candidate will have high integrity, professionalism, a constant positive attitude, and the ability to succeed in a competitive environment. 
This is a base + commission opportunity.  
Primary responsibilities:
  • Maintain hybrid schedule and train onsite in Overland Park, Kansas 
  • Generate and qualify prospective customers
  • Grow customer portfolio through new sales and maintain customer relationships
  • Prepare paperwork for underwriting and account setup
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, market developments, and other sales feedback
  • Participate in daily sales meeting and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Manage daily schedule
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quota and goals set by Sales Director
The ideal candidate will possess the following:  
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; Inside sales experience is a plus
  • Proven, effective prospecting skills
  • Goal oriented and motivated by success
  • Effective ability to provide a professional company image to prospects
  • Must be a creative thinker to overcome customer rejections
  • Must be adaptable and be able to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate problem solving and negotiation skills
