This position will focus on our iContact brand, which primarily serves a small business audience by providing an email marketing platform widely known for its ease of use. We help thousands of small businesses and nonprofits grow their audiences through email marketing, allowing them to easily design and send beautiful, personalized emails. 

 

This position is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, ux, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

 

We have ambitious growth plans for iContact, so this is an opportunity to be a key contributor in helping ensure that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

 

Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will work to define and develop the product roadmap for iContact.  You will play an integral role in shaping the direction of iContact to meet the needs of our existing customers, while evolving the platform to meet the needs for new customers.

 

How you’ll make an impact.

     Provide the research to build business cases based on feedback and competitor analysis to inform the leadership team of recommended new features and feature enhancements.

      Define and prioritize a product/feature backlog and roadmap in order to ensure existing customers' needs are met and incremental improvements are made to our overall product.

     Build relationships with engineering through daily scrums, sprint planning meetings and solution reviews to ensure tracking toward deliverables and keep stakeholders informed of progress.

     Collaborate with internal teams and create critical go-to-market plans to ensure sufficient training and adoption of new features and enhancements; including messaging pillars to resonate with target audiences.

     Create/maintain a competitive analysis matrix to stay informed of competitors in our market.

     Hold regular meetings with internal stakeholders to collect feedback to help shape the iContact roadmap.

 

What you'll bring to the team.

     3+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment.  Bonus if you have experience in product marketing and digital marketing, or if you've worked on a platform or product that focuses on the small business audience. 

     Experience leading product development end-to-end, from creating business cases through to go-to-market launches.

      A combination of business and technical knowledge, allowing you to work comfortably with all internal partner teams. 

     Experience using analytics, BI, Pendo and other data to make decisions. 

     You are comfortable leading and working cross-team to get things done. 

     You enjoy working closely with UX to turn your product requirements into designs.

     A willingness to put forth and accept ideas for consideration.  You appreciate an inclusive, collaborative approach to roadmap planning.

     You are familiar with agile best practices, JIRA, Confluence, and the pressures of a regular release cycle

     You are able to deliver communications that are clear, concise and effective regardless of the audience.

     You are curious, appreciate the value of research and consider yourself a fast learner who can quickly develop a deep understanding of the market, our products, and the competition.
