Typical Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans that align with company objectives, plans and merchandising and consumer mindset calendars.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify marketing opportunities and target audiences.
- Establish marketing goals and objectives and measure performance against them.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, email, text and traditional media.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver marketing content and materials.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure they are followed by all stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Set clear goals and expectations and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
Customer Insights:
- Gather and analyze customer insights and feedback to inform marketing strategies.
- Utilize customer data to segment audiences and personalize marketing efforts.
Partnerships and Collaboration:
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, media contacts, and industry influencers.
- Coordinate with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Use marketing analytics tools to track, measure, and report on marketing performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve marketing effectiveness.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and SEO.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM software.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
