Hiring Range: $16.00 - $20.00/hr. 

JOB OVERVIEW
  

Juice Bar Lead team members are responsible for making quality juice bar beverages according to recipes and customer requests and supervise the juice bar staff.  

Under the Food Service Manager supervision, the Juice Bar Lead performs the following duties:  

TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Work with fellow employees and lead by example (i.e., dress attitude, performance, cleanliness, acknowledgment of customers, attendance and observance of and compliance with company safety standards)
  • Be familiar with all positions in case of staff coverage issues
  • Run breaks for all staff in the juice bar
  • Document any situations or problems to the Food Service Manager directly or through the daily Manager’s Reports
  • Monitor employee attendance and development
  • Ensure the juice bar’s daily “Organics” list is updated for that day’s business
  • Check staff appearance- proper uniform, cleanliness, and name badge
  • Inform Food Service Manager on new ideas to improve productivity & customer service, procedure problems, customer complaints, recipe consistency and quality control
  • Identify and report equipment problems and schedules immediate repair
  • Manage front and back stock & inventory procedures, scanning out product & transfers, placing all necessary product orders on time
  • Be responsible for scan card use of voids, discounts, & returns
  • Help with reviews, interviews, & disciplinary actions
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES  

Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:  

       Training/Education:   

  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate

Knowledge of:  

  • Customer service techniques
  • Verbal proficiency of the English Language, and be able to read and write English at a basic level

Ability to:  

  • Possess some customer service experience
  • Must be available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department/store
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights and weekends as required

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  

  • Bending & lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Move stock from storage to shelf/preparation areas
  • Repetitive movement, cutting veggies and fruit with a knife
  • Daily work with knives and other sharp items
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
