Fabrication Technician - 1 st Shift

Location: Riverside, CA

Pay: $16.25 - $23.29 per hour depending on experience

The Fabrication Technician that expertly handles press brakes, drill presses, and other precision equipment to shape and transform raw materials with skill and accuracy.

What a Day in Your Life Looks Like:

• Work Order Interpretation: Read and apply work orders accurately to each task.
• Machine Setup & Maintenance: Perform machine setup and conduct preventative maintenance as needed.
• Technical Skills: Skilled in grinding, drilling, sanding, tapping, and other related tasks.
• Equipment Operation: Confidently operate press brakes and punch machines.
• Safety & Quality Focus: Conduct thorough safety and quality inspections to ensure top standards.
• Compliance: Follow and uphold all company safety policies consistently.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Math & Measurement: Strong basic math skills and proficiency with tape measures.
• Computer Skills: Comfortable using computer tools to support tasks.
• Blueprint Literacy: Able to read, interpret, and apply blueprints, including specialized applications.
• Measurement Comprehension: Skilled at understanding and accurately applying measurements.

What Sets You Apart:

• Manufacturing Experience: Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Machinery Setup: Skilled in setting up machines such as press brakes, shears, horizontal saws, plasma tables, and punch turrets.
• Tech Familiarity: General computer knowledge is helpful to support daily tasks.

Physical Requirements:

From lifting up to 35 pounds to bending, squatting, reaching high, or crawling into tight spots, no two days are the same. Repetitive handwork keeps you sharp, and climbing ladders or working at heights is part of the role.
