Job Profile
Moneycorp is looking for a new hire to join the Procurement team, supporting the team across the management of the third-party vendors across the group. This will include supporting the assessment of the business requirements, to help support the desire to buy the right product at the right price at the right time.
 
The Procurement analyst will have a desire to learn and be involved across all aspects of Procurement and Third-Party vendor management and play a key role in supporting strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost-optimisation initiatives within a fast-paced FinTech environment. The role requires strong analytical capability. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure procurement activities are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
 
Located in London, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop the following skills, that include using data and decision analytics, growing their relationship management skills, contract performance, performance improvement programmes, and an interest in establishing processes, and developing commercial awareness to challenge stakeholders and enable decision making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Invoicing and Ordering: Manage the end-to-end process of invoicing and ordering IT equipment and services, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • RFP Contribution: Assist in the preparation and evaluation of RFPs for IT projects, including gathering requirements, coordinating with vendors, and analysing proposals.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure the best value for the organisation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage IT inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in procurement operations.
  • Third-Party Risk Management: Core responsibility for managing third-party risk activities for technology vendors, ensuring all risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.
  • Technology Contracts Management: Oversee the management of technology contracts, including negotiation, execution, renewal preparation, and monitoring of contract performance to ensure compliance and value delivery.

Knowledge and Experience:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.

 Professional Experience:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar administrative role, demonstrating a strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Experience with contract management, including negotiation, execution, renewal preparation, and monitoring of contract performance.
  • Experience in managing third-party risk activities for technology vendors, ensuring all risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.

 Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of IT products and services, including hardware, software, and IT services.

 Soft Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance in all procurement activities.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPM) is a plus.
  • Experience with supplier relationship management and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to procurement, e.g. third party risk management.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position. The role is expected to be office-based in London, however, we have a flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home.
