Your Next Challenge 
 
We are looking for a motivated Associate HR Officer to help deliver efficient and effective HR services across our business, working closely with our HR Business Partners to support our exciting growth journey. This role involves handling day-to-day HR operations, providing guidance to colleagues & managers, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies and will work closely with the HR Team to support and deliver the company growth plan
 
Key Accountabilities:
Central HR Support
  • Work with HROM to contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving colleague experience and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and update colleague records in the HR system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support for HR processes such as contract generation, letter, forms & policy updates.
  • Ensure effective management of the HR inbox.
  • Effective use of all HR systems.
Operations and Compliance
  • To ensure process maps and procedures are updated regularly for each activity within the HR Function; on-boarding, Changes, Leavers, Maternity/Paternity etc.
  • Is responsible for updating all HR policies and ensuring we are compliant with employment laws and internal policies, to include horizon scanning.
  • Ensure you are adhering to GDPR guidelines.
  • Work with all members of the team to draft regulatory references.
Recruitment Support
  • Support with the management of the Company career site content.
  • Ensuring all vacancies are managed through the applicant tracking system.
  • Writing and reviewing job descriptions with key stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Assist with recruitment assessment days.
  • Training all Line Managers on Jobvite.
  • Assisting with interviews and interview management.
  • Work with the RPO and support the onboarding process.
  • Manage & deliver monthly global inductions.
Employee Relations
  • Support Line Managers with employee relations issues.
  • Advising Managers on HR Policies and best practice.
  • To support and implement the administration part of planning, implementing and handling of employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Data & Projects
  • Plan and deliver business related projects e.g. EOS & DE&I initiatives.
  •  Work with HRBP’s on regional and group projects.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics such as turnover, absence, and training compliance.
Employee engagement
  • Support the HR Team on EOS initiatives.
  • Creation of the engagement plan and management of the Calander of events.
  • Support the value champions & initiatives.
  • Support the charity committee & initiatives.
  • Draft all employee communications.
Payroll
  • Ensure all payroll submissions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage all payroll related queries in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.
  • Support the Central HR Team to ensure the HR system is updated in line with starters, leavers and changes.
Training & Development
  • Coach all relevant line managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support with implementing training programmes/management development plans.
  • Proactively seek and undertake training needs analysis.
  • Support management to create and implement employee development plans.
General
  • Support the wider HR Team when required.
  • Attend job related training courses/seminars.
  • Ensure all Company procedures and policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Participate in Company events.
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from colleagues and managers.
  • Ad hoc requirements to meet individual, team or business objectives.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience of working in a HR role essential
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced high pressure multi-channel environment
  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation essential
  • Experience of managing statistics and navigating HR data
  • Experience of working with international teams in an HR capacity
