Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
We have an exciting opportunity for a Reconciliations and Settlements Analyst, to join our Payments Operations – Reconciliations and Settlements team at Moneycorp on a 12-month fixed term contract, based in our Coventry Office, West Midlands. Reporting directly to the Payment Operations Managers, this role sits within the Reconciliations and Settlements team and the purpose is to lead a team to ensure:
- All FX transactions are allocated against the transaction on the day of trade.
- All client transactions are allocated on the same day or by 11am the following working day.
We are keen to meet applicants who have an interest in learning FX or settlements, have sharp attention to detail and take pride in ensuring processes and procedures are followed consistently at a high standard.
What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role
- High interest in moving into a role processing FX and settlements.
- Some knowledge and understanding of the banking sector specifically around payments and FX products would be advantageous
- Knowledge and understanding of AML and Compliance requirements including safeguarding i.e. CAR / CASS requirements desirable
- Proficient at establishing credibility quickly and building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written), stay calm and work well under pressure to meet competing deadlines.
- Solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective / evidence based decisions and influence recommendations and decisions using insights.
- Consultative style with the ability to breakdown complex information to suit target audience.
- Resilient to change, adapting to and supporting new situations with confidence.
- Excellent analytical skills, with ability to think independently and draw conclusions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take on a key role within the Payments Operations function, who is keen to get involved in multiple projects within an established growing international organisation, and provides amazing scope for both strategic and operational self-development.
Please note: This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract position. You'll be based in our Coventry office, as part of the Reconciliations and Settlements team and we operate within a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days per week onsite and the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining 2 days.
