In North America, our offices are in Stamford, Orlando, Providence, and Toronto. We are licensed to operate in each US State, and in Canada at the Federal level we are registered with FINTRAC and at the Provincial level in Quebec.
Role Purpose
In conjunction with the Global Head of Compliance Monitoring, you will be responsible for supporting the establishment of a dedicated Group Compliance Monitoring Function that will support 2LOD Compliance Monitoring Plans for all Group regulated entities and be the lead resource for Compliance Monitoring for the North American Moneycorp entities (Moneycorp US Inc and Moneycorp NA Inc).
The role requires the design, implementation and execution of a risk-based compliance monitoring framework that will support an annual risk assessment process and produce annual compliance monitoring plans.
Key Accountabilities:
Compliance Monitoring Framework
- Support the design of a risk-based Group compliance monitoring framework that is proportionate to the Group’s legal entities and their regulatory licenses.
- Co-ordinate and support the legal entities’ annual risk assessments.
- Support the entities developing their annual compliance monitoring plans.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with the Group Internal Audit Function on compliance monitoring plans and internal audit plans.
Execution of Compliance Monitoring Plans
- Support the execution of the legal entities’ money transmission and financial crime compliance monitoring programs.
- Support legal entity management teams identifying relevant and appropriate remediation plans to address review findings.
- Co-ordinate and agree final findings, and remediation plans for inclusion in ExCo and Board reporting.
Reporting
- Prepare legal entities compliance monitoring reporting and support presentation at the Board and Board sub-Committee meetings.
- Maintain a register of all compliance monitoring remediation items and implement a process to periodically track progress and produce MI to reflect same.
- Support Group reporting for Group ExCo and Board.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience working in payments/electronic money/MSB/Investment Firms/Broker-dealers
- Good knowledge and understanding of applicable EU, UK, US regulations
- Knowledge of 2LOD compliance monitoring obligations
- Compliance monitoring, quality assurance and/or audit experience
- Report writing for ExCo, Boards

Education:
- Relevant Degree is required

- This role offers a salary of $95,000 - 108,000 per annum + discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
