Apartment Maintenance Technician

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Indian Hills Apartments, a well-maintained 120-unit community located on Winona Way on Sioux City’s North Side of town.

If you have apartment maintenance or residential maintenance experience and enjoy troubleshooting, unit turns, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, we'd like to meet you. Compensation & Benefits:

• $20.00–$25.00 per hour DOE
• Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
• On-call bonus structure up to $100/week

What You'll Do:

• Complete resident service requests and work orders.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing quality unit turns.
• Repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 1 year of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• EPA& HVAC certifications are a plus but not required.
• CPO certification required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation approximately one week every three weeks.
