Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a skilled, dependable, and self‑motivated Maintenance Rover to support our seven apartment communities in Topeka. This is a hands‑on role for a true maintenance professional who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and being the go‑to expert across multiple properties.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay
$26–$28 per hour, paid bi‑weekly
What You’ll Do:
- Support seven Topeka properties with maintenance needs, special projects, and make‑ready turns
- Complete work orders efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances
- Assist with preventative maintenance and property improvements
- Ensure units and common areas meet Monarch’s high standards
- Work independently while collaborating with on‑site teams

The Experience We Like To See:
- 4+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
- 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
- Dry walling including painting and carpentry
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
- Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
- Preferred experience in HVAC and boiler system knowledge
- Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
- Problem solving skills
- Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
- Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
