Apartment Maintenance Technician

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville, KY. We offer $20.00–$25.00 per hour, quarterly maintenance bonuses of up to $750, full benefits, tool reimbursement, paid time off, and ongoing training and advancement opportunities.

Great Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner based on priority
- Perform apartment make-ready/turn work between residents
- Perform interior and exterior painting and staining
- Complete general carpentry, drywall, and exterior maintenance as needed
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and water heaters
- Maintain the property's buildings, grounds, and common areas as needed
- Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation approximately every 3–4 weeks
- Provide professional, courteous service to residents and respond to maintenance requests promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in general property maintenance preferred
- Experience with drywall, painting, and basic carpentry
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and water heaters
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
