Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at the Homestead Apartments in Hobbs, NM. We offer up to $20/hrs plus leasing & renewal commissions and full benefits including 2 weeks paid time off and tuition reimbursement.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay up to $20.00/hour, based on experience.
  • Lucrative commission program: Earn up to $75.00 per new lease AND up to $100.00 per lease renewal.
  • Annual raises: Up to 5% based on performance.

As the Assistant Property Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive community experience for our residents. Your responsibilities include:
  • Welcoming prospective residents, conducting tours, and leasing apartments.
  • Maintaining the appearance of model and target apartments to showcase their appeal.
  • Preparing and managing lease agreements and ensuring timely signatures.
  • Assisting the Property Manager in marketing efforts and ensuring all materials are current and effective.
  • Creating and managing daily online marketing campaigns, including Craigslist and other platforms.
  • Monitoring "curb appeal" to maintain a welcoming community atmosphere.
  • Supporting resident relations and ensuring a positive living experience.

What We’re Looking For:

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience in multifamily housing.
  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to navigate software systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset with exceptional service skills.
  • A willingness to complete online training and professional development courses.
