The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of qualified candidates for current and future store manager openings, including active sourcing, interview, and offer negotiation. This position is located in-office 5 days a week at our Central Store Support office (Rockville, MD).
- Post positions, manage candidates through our ATS (Jobvite) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Full-cycle recruiting for store and corporate roles; sourcing, phone screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting strategies and interview processes.
- Manage in-person interviews, delivering attentive, personalized service to candidates.
- Drive excellent candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Ensure proper hand-off to the onboarding team, collaborating on any escalated candidate issues.
- Respond to recruiting questions within SLA’s via phone, email, chat systems and Zendesk - including rotating weekend phone & ticket coverage (~1 weekend/month).
- Follow processes to ensure all tasks are completed accurately.
- Ensure that recruiting checklists stay up to date for all related responsibilities.
- Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Participate as needed in other department tasks and projects.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 year’s experience in Recruiting, HR or related field
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in sourcing techniques, including outreach via LinkedIn and other tools
- Bias for action, able to push projects to the finish line
- Proven experience delivering feedback and navigating complex leadership environments
- Enthusiastic advocate for MOM’s culture
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
- Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
- Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $83,000. We also offer a full range of benefits including:
