Sales/Business Development Representative


We are seeking a Sales/Business Development Representative to join the marketing team at Model N. We are building a business development team in house and are looking for exceptional an BDR to drive pipeline in our life sciences business. This is a critical position to expand Model N’s leadership role in revenue management for life sciences by expanding at existing customers and bringing on new logos.


Responsibilities:

  • Consistently deliver high quality meetings with target people at our target accounts that turn into pipeline opportunities
  • Meet and exceed quotas of meetings and pipeline
  • Work very closely with assigned AEs to align on target accounts and key weekly activities
  • Work very closely with demand generation to drive registration for webinars and events, and with product marketing to remain on-point with messaging
  • Leverage all sales & marketing tools available to you, including Salesforce, Marketo, Everstring, DiscoverOrg
  • Leverage all social selling tools and techniques, especially LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Energetically, proactively, creatively surround target personas to achieve the highest possible results
  • Follow up on inbound leads within minutes


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in sales/business development in an enterprise B2B SaaS company
  • Expert Salesforce.com user
  • Experience with Enterprise selling and Account-Based Marketing
  • Experience with modern tools & data such as Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, Marketo
  • Experience in life sciences and high tech a plus
  • Experience in revenue management, channel data management, or pricing/quoting software a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
