Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead for Regulation and Certification Strategy activities with internal and external customers including regional engineering, Korean headquarters Regulatory and Certification Planning, and Hyundai Motor Group partners.
  • Interact and communicate with external regulatory and environmental consultants and industry associations; recommend and maintain relevant affiliations.
  • Proactively define recommendations based on future North American regulatory actions that drive product compliance and future strategy.
  • Maintain global awareness of NA and Euro NCAP and other regulatory systems effecting the Mobis business.
  • Identify, recommend, and attend key industry conferences / events; provide actionable analysis and reports
  • Lead the development and filing of Mobis comments related to NHTSA Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM).
  • Develop daily and monthly tracking of relevant rules and regulations for all Mobis North America product areas.
  • Develop timely responses to ad-hoc regulatory requests, regionally and globally.
  • Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis of Mobis and competitive products to inform future strategy as requested.
Experience:

  • 3+ Years of experience (will consider less based on background)
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience developing research and analysis of data, providing reports
  • Demonstrated interest for researching legal and regulatory policy
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies preferred
  • Automotive industry knowledge preferred
