Description

The Quality Engineer is responsible for:

· Set up and documentation and training for the floor

· Torque data collection and reporting (SPC charts, etc.)

· Product measurement

· Product complaint investigation

· Product disposition (support role)

· Support of Engineering Change Notice reviews for impact to process and system

Provide training, advice and guidance to others in regard to:

· Statistical Process Control implementation

· Calibrations

· Support supplier control activities as needed (containment of product)

· Provide direction for production supervisor and control floor processes and changes

· Performs special assignments as delegated.

Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:

· Four year Degree required with at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Must have good problem solving, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of Automotive core tools

· Calibration of measurement instruments
