We are currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our industry-leading team in Newport Beach.  This position will support the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis and primarily be developing and reporting on key business metrics for various business units across the organization. This position will also track industry intelligence to understand key business trends.


  • Prepare reports on capital and operating cost variances to budgets as well as other performance indicators
  • Maintain forecasting models for investment capital requirements, revenue, and costs
  • Track key performance metrics and performance of all business units
  • Compile, analyze and prepare summary reports of key activities to management
  • Create consistency in reporting delivered to the CEO
  • Assist in tracking and developing reporting on industry trends
  • Use problem-solving skills to analyze and advise on future strategies
  • Create ad hoc reports through advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other Business Intelligence toolsets
  • Assist other team members throughout the business units
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.S.) from a four-year college/university required
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of related corporate finance and accounting experience including financial modeling
  • Experience in Private Equity
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting and FP&A teams
  • Strong analytical skills and an expert user of Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, graphs, scenario modeling, etc.) and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated client and internal management presentation skills
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills with the instinctive ability to be adaptable to an ever-changing environment

The starting base pay for this role is between $95,000 and $105,000. Starting base pay is to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
