About This Role 

As a Product Manager at MN Custom Homes, you'll lead the charge in deploying technology solutions that fuel innovation and growth in residential home building. This role involves overseeing the entire development lifecycle—identifying issues, assessing solutions, conducting research, and implementing strategies. Your expertise will be vital in supporting departments such as Construction, Architecture, and Interior Design. MN Custom Homes seeks to revolutionize residential home building through cutting-edge technology, and you'll be at the heart of making this vision a reality.

 
On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include
  • Lead the technology and business planning processes across all stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence
  • Analyze stakeholder needs, market trends, and potential partnership, assessing them from an ROI and build-versus-buy perspective to guide decision making
  • Create strategic documents outlining business cases, technical requirements, and ROI projections.
  • Analyze technology requirements to create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria ensuring all technical needs are defined and met
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines. Coordinate across multiple departments to ensure timely delivery on projects
  • Build strong partnership with internal partners, crafting continuous feedback loops that allow us to better understand their challenges and prioritize solutions
  • Evaluate and strategize the adoption of innovative technology solutions, enhancing MN custom Homes’ capabilities and market position
Physical Requirements
  • This position requires frequent use of a computer, including keyboard functions and visual acuity of 20 inches or fewer on a daily basis
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Travel & Vehicle Requirements
  • Some travel as needed within a 10-mile radius
What You’ll Need to Succeed  
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university or equivalent, preferably in Business, Economics, Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in product development or related areas
  • Previous experience as a product owner, product manager, or relevant role
  • Ability to write a thoroughly researched business case linking solutions to problems with ROI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several concurrent projects
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions, understanding the impact and implications and providing feedback on outcomes
  • Ability to work independently with little direction or oversight
  • Ability to establish credibility as a subject matter expert and develop trust and rapport with key stakeholders
  • Ability to address multiple demands and adjust style and approach to suit situations that involve rapidly changing tasks, shifting priorities, simultaneous demands, or transitions into new assignments
  • Excellent experience in a dynamic product management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with public speaking, the ability to explain complex findings to a diverse audience 
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of technology development and implementation
  • Proven success in end-to-end product lifecycle management
  • Strong growth mindset; independently seeks out continuous improvement and development opportunities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adopt MN processes and standard operating procedures

Hours & Compensation   
This is a full-time position paying $120,500 - $181,238 + discretionary bonuses. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Individual placement within a salary range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to candidate experience, knowledge, individual, skills, and organizational performance.
