Mitsubishi Motors is seeking a Retail Performance Manager to join their Sales Operations team. As the Retail Performance Manager, you will manage the execution of key sales ops and marketing programs and strategies to support retail performance improvement. You will work in collaboration with regional management and field teams along with internal departments, to ensure successful implementation of retail performance programs.  You’ll participate in strategic planning and manage the process for lead performance measurement and reporting, dealer compliance (website, trademarks, communication), test drive events and dealer activations, align and engage regions to activate Tier 3 marketing programs. As the manager, you will also act as a retail performance subject matter expert to provide proactive guidance and support to our Regional Directors and their teams on program effectiveness, efficiencies and development of countermeasures as necessary.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure regions are in alignment with key sales ops objectives and engagement with marketing programs
  • Manage lead performance, reporting, KPI management, and work with solutions partner and regions to address any dealer issues
  • Manage test drive events and dealer activations in conjunction with department initiatives to improve retail performance
  • Manage the introduction of newly developed retail sales programs to regions and dealers
  • Monitor business rules for lead distribution and modify as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Directly manage and support the growth of the Retail Performance Planner. Support their efforts as they promote programs and develop ability to build relationships with the MMNA field team.
  • Create and implement lead generation initiatives. Analyze current trends and campaign results and make necessary adjustments to increase overall lead generation efforts.
  • Manage projects related to lead generation/management and retail marketing initiatives, working closely with dedicated resources as well as the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain retail best practices that will create continuous improvement throughout the retail network.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on retail marketing strategies, tactics and best practice to proactively provide support and guidance to our Mitsubishi Regional Teams.
  • Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly.
  • Travel for Regional Meetings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll have:

  • BA degree in Business, Management, or Marketing - or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in automotive management positions, preferably from the OEM side.
  • In lieu of automotive experience, 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in the lead management and direct customer marketing space or B2B2C marketing experience.
  • Vendor, project & contract management experience.

  • Ability to collaborate & identify/resolve conflicts or barriers to effective teamwork.
  • Strong presentation skills that can be persuasive and informative in nature at all levels in the organization.
  • Knowledge of CRM a plus
  • Experience working on retail campaigns a plus.
