Parts Systems Planning Business Analyst

Mitsubishi Motors North America is looking for a Parts Systems Planning Analyst to join our Parts Systems team. As a Parts Systems Planning Analyst, you will provide business support as the analyst for extracting data and creating reports, as well as act as a liaison between Parts, Project Teams, and Information Technology (I.T.) for all operational needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist Parts Business Units with analysis to define Parts system project and modification requests
  • Help coordinate user business analysis and development. Also, track, test, and report status of all activities for assigned projects
  • Maintain parts customer information for new, buy/sell, and terminated dealers
  • Maintain, log, and process parts information from MMC to support U.S. and Latin America new model parts information from SPLs and Catalogs
  • Provide the parts department with ad hoc data requests; design and develop reports in SAS or Business Objects to support corporate, field, or dealer operations
  • Work with business units and I.T. to determine business needs and clarify alternative solutions. Test all changes or enhancements prior to implementation
  • Provide systems support for inventory control’s supply chain software, JDA
  • Prepare and maintain Parts System User Reference Manuals and Parts Systems MAPS Help Text
  • Assist in training the Parts Department personnel with system use.
  • Coordinate all User ID and MAPS security access requests
  • Design, develop, test, and schedule weekly and monthly report projects or data extracts for internal business units
  • Provide data management support for the MiParts Retail Inventory Management (RIM)
  • Meet stated deadlines while delivering quality results
  • Other duties and projects as assigned or required
What you’ll have:
  • 1 – 3 years prior business process/programming experience/data analysis and database concepts
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education or experience
  • Experience with automotive data preferred.
  • SAS or Business Objects reporting experience a plus
  • Programming experience a plus
