Summary of the Role:  
As the Treasury Analyst at MMNA, you'll be responsible for preparing the company's daily cash position, initiating payments, forecasting cash flows, and investing of excess cash. Your role is pivotal in maintaining financial stability and supporting MMNA's strategic objectives.
 
Position Location: 
The role is based in Franklin, TN, with reporting responsibilities to MMNA’s Franklin Headquarters. The ideal candidate should reside in or be willing to relocate to the Franklin/Nashville area of Tennessee. Please note that we are unable to make exceptions regarding the requirement to live and work in Tennessee.
Responsibilities:  
  • Prepare MMNA’s daily cash position.
  • Prepare daily wires, book transfers, and ACH payments.
  • Calculate and invest excess funds in compliance with investment policy guidelines.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flow reports for senior management and audit purposes.
  • Forecast daily and monthly liquidity.
  • Maintain frequent communication with MMNA departments to obtain real time inputs for cash flow forecasting.
  • Maintain relationships with banks.
  • Assist in the cash flow planning and forecasting for MMNA on a divisional and consolidated basis for annual Business Plan (BP) and periodic Forecasts.
  • Analyze and report on bank fees. Research and reconcile errors, exception items, unexpected charges, uncleared checks, etc.
  • Update all bank documents as required.
  • Prepare reports requested by parent company (Mitsubishi Motors Corporation) regarding liquidity and cash flow forecasting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications:  

  • 2+ years’ of experience working in Treasury, Accounting and/or Finance.
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with banking platforms such as CashPro, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this position ranges between $65,000 to $80,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
