Mitsubishi Motors North America is relocating its Headquarters from Cypress, CA to Franklin, TN! In support of our exciting big move, we are looking for a Technician to join our Aftersales Service team. As a Technician, you will effectively diagnose/repair/test MMNA fleet/project vehicles. Provide technical expertise within the company as necessary to meet department objectives and support CSI/ISQ/VDS for customer loyalty.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Provide Platform Teams technical support/assist them with vehicle projects, field fix development, and special requests from MMC, MMMA and MMAL.
  2. Diagnose and repair repurchased vehicles. Report findings to Technical Center Team Lead.
  3. Provide technical support for the Public Relations department in the preparation of vehicles for press events and special testing activities. Travel to support events when necessary.
  4. Work with Technical Publications Specialists to provide technical assistance in the validation of Technical Service Bulletins.
  5. Perform labor operation time studies for the Warranty Department.
  6. Work with Specialists, Special Tools/Equipment team to assist in special tool development/validation.
  7. Provide technical support for the Product Planning Department by assisting them with the preparation and repair of pre-production vehicles.
  8. Provide technical support for the MMNA Accessory Development department for the installation and validation of locally sourced accessories.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned or appropriate.
What you’ll have:

  • 2-4 years experience as a general automotive technician.
  • 2-4 years exclusive Mitsubishi product experience.
  • BA/BS degree in Automotive Engineering/Technology, or equivalent
  • Degree or certificate in automotive repair from a community college or vocational/trade school
  • ASE certification in automotive repair (Tests A1-A8 and L-1) credentials.
  • A/C recycling certification.
  • HAZMAT, CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Japanese import vehicle experience (preferably Mitsubishi)
